Choosing Your Tool: Marking Food Products
Share
Charrier Gravure has specialized in engraving food-grade stainless steel for 30 years. We use a highly qualitative process that allows for fine details.
Some criteria to choose the right custom tool for you:
▶︎ To occasionally mark a piece, a engraved stainless steel block is sufficient; select the desired size area, choose the rod and handle option to avoid burns, and for soft materials, the contour option is applied so the bottom of the engraving does not mark.

▶︎ If you have series production, then the electric branding iron is useful. Depending on the marking size, a recommended wattage is indicated.
Do not go below 200w.
For marking your burgers, marking on a 50 mm diameter with a 300w iron and the contour option (which prevents marking with the engraving bottom) is most frequent.

▶︎ Energy controller for sensitive materials, graphic validation, priority production, and rush services for urgent needs complement this range of versatile and economical tools.
Hot stamping a burger bun, meat, cheese, ham, a croque monsieur, a taco, or a vegetable allows you to imprint your identity at the moment your customer consumes the product.
